Review:
Once again another lovely Cat Who book from Braun. The writing is simple and I love diving into these books after, as they don't require much concentration. Koko is once again a little shit disturber but he's awesome none the less. Qwill is well...Qwill. The book kept me guessing until the end as always. If you love cats, cozy mysteries and just want something that's easy to read, you should check out these books. Start with the first one though otherwise things won't make much sense.

Review:
I in all honesty have no idea what to say about this. It was just bad and to me a bit confusing and un necessary. Luke was sort of a whiny bitch and Leia, heck I don't know what was going on with her. The only people seemed like their movie selves were Lando and Han. In fact those were the only two people I liked in this entire story. It got really boring really fast and the only reason it actually got finished was that I skimmed a shit ton of it.

Review:
I love this world that Julie Kagawa created I really do, and I love the concept of the Iron Fey. It's been a while since I read the first book so it took me a bit to remember what was going on. I love Puck and Grim, they are freaking hilarious! Julie's writing style is easy to read, she's descriptive but not so descriptive that it takes five pages to describe a room. The story itself is just awesome, I can't wait to read The Iron Queen. I also must say that like the first book, I love the cover.

Zara and her friends thought they'd solved the pixie problem. And they did - sort of. The pixie's are all locked away, deep in the woods. But the king's needs grow stronger each day that he is in captivity, while his control over his people weakens. And it's enough to draw a new king into town. Astley claims he is different. He claims there are pixies who can live peacefully with humans, that it doesn't have to be all violence and nastiness all the time. Zara wants to believe him...until Astley also claims that she is fated to be his queen.

There is no way Zara would ever turn pixie. And she's got good friends who will make sure of that. Besides, she and Nick are so in love they're practically inseparable. But when they very thing Zara wants to protect most is exactly what's at risk, she is forced to make choices she never imagined....

review:
I had problems rating this one, it wasn't quiet a four but it also wasn't a three. Like the first book in the series Captivate has just as many twists and turns. The first half of the book mainly deals with Nick and Zara's romance, which sort of annoyed me. I like the plot and I like the characters. It was a fast and easy read, which I love as I am currently dealing with some personal issues and it's hard to concentrate. I've read many books with fae but this is the first series I've read about pixies. I think if your into fae that you should give this series a shot.

review:
now i once again made the mistake of not starting with the first book, so i think if i maybe read this in the correct order my review would be different. it seemed interesting enough but as i said since i didn't read this in order a bunch of it didn't make sense. i also think that this is the first time i've read something that has taken place in the 20's and Australia. so i liked that it was something different. it started a bit slow in my opinion but whatever, i'm going to give the rest of the series a shot.

as always i am going to start off with trying to read 40 books this year. should i get to that before the year ends i will most likely up it to something else. my goal is to get a book read a week, which is gonna be hard as i'm a slow reader. but hey we'll see.
